What You Can Expect
When you book me as your wedding photographer, you're not just getting someone with a camera—you're gaining a partner who understands the importance of every detail. From the anticipation of getting ready to the magic of your first dance, I’ll be there to ensure your memories are captured with care and artistry.
The Process
I. Initial Inquiry + Discovery Call
After filling out the inquiry form below, I'll reach back out via email to schedule a time to chat about your special day! If you're local, I'd love to meet for coffee or a cocktail, but am always open to a Google Chat date!
II. Secure Your Booking + Engagement Session Date
You're in! Once your date is secured, you'll receive a contract and invoice for a 10% deposit due at signing. Then, we get to work! Included with your package is a complementary engagement session! This is a great time for us to get to know each other, talk about preferences, and get comfortable in front of the camera.
III. It's Wedding Day!
Ring the bells, it's now wedding day! Sit back, relax, and be present for your day - I'll do the heavy lifting. After your wedding, I'll be obsessing over your photos for about 4 weeks; then, you'll receive them in a fully digital, high-res gallery with access to the Print Store (and a sweet discount)!

How far in advance should we book?
I recommend sending an inquiry as soon as you have a date to ensure availability. If you're getting married during the busy season (late spring through early fall), wedding dates can fill up quickly!
Do you travel for weddings?
Um, YES! I love to travel, so I'll take any chance I get to venture to new places!
Travel Fees: Travel fees do not apply for any locations in NC or SC! If you will be getting married outside of those places, travel fees will vary based on distance traveled.
Can we choose the location for our engagement session?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
Can we customize a package to fit our needs?
Absolutely! If you need something different from the standard packages, let’s chat to create a custom option. Check out my a la carte options for additional add-ons.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I totally understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I'll come prepared! If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. (psst...sometimes rainy photos are the best.)
